Detroit River:
Good walleye action in the Trenton Channel. Anglers are using crawler harnesses. Use gold blades with red beads. Jiggers, and handliners are using rapalas, and live bait.
Lake Erie:
Walleye fishing is improving by the day. Good fishing near Stoney Point and Bolles Harbor. Try 22-27 ft. of water with spoons or harnesses. Perch fishing is improving. Sheephead fishing is very good.
St Clair River:
Walleye fishing is picking up again with the warmer temps. Use bottom bouncers with harnesses or jig leeches or crawlers in the river bottom. Fish are still scattered around the river.
Lake St. Clair:
Yellow perch fishing is fair to good. Schools of perch are found in 10ft of water near weedlines. Decent Walleye action near the mile roads toward nightfall, as they are chasing baitfish.
Lake Huron:
Walleye fishing is on fire! Good catches of perch reported near the Pine River. Walleye action is picking up near Linwood in 10-13ft of water. Stay in 12 ft of water for great action. Lake trout fishing is good in 30-50ft of water. Anglers are switching to shad body baits with decent success. Lake Trout and Salmon are being caught in 80-100ft of water near Harbor Beach.
Au Sable River:
Trout fishing is very good. Good water clarity and good fly hatches will continue to improve fishing. Walleye fishing very good in the morning and late afternoon.
Manistee River:
Trout fishing is very good. Good daily fly hatches. Good Brown and Rainbow trout fishing all over the river system. Look for the summer run of Chinook to start on the Little Manistee River in the next couple of weeks. The summer run of Skamania has begun on the Big Manistee. Good smallmouth Bass fishing along the river.
